Speeding Event

The Speeding event is generated and triggered only for active assets with a paired tracker.

If a tracker paired to an asset at your company reports data that causes the system to assign a Speeding moving status to the asset, then the system will generate a Speeding event.

The Speeding moving status is assigned when the current vehicle speed exceeds the current road speed limit.

This event will only be generated once for that specific instance of speeding. The system will not create duplicate events while the status remains Speeding.

If the moving status changes to another status and later changes back to Speeding, then a new Speeding event will be generated.
